Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 15, 2026
Verdict is a dynasty fantasy football tool operated by Sverre Group LLC, a California limited liability company (“Verdict,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We need some of your data to make it work. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what we never do with it. We’ve written it in plain language because you deserve to know what you’re agreeing to — not just that a wall of legal text exists.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to run the service. Here’s a plain-language breakdown:
- Account information. Your email address and password, used to create your Verdict account (password stored as a secure hash — we never see your actual password).
- Sleeper username. You connect your Sleeper account by entering your username. We use this to pull your league, roster, and player data from the Sleeper API. We never store your Sleeper password.
- Fantasy league data. Rosters, league settings, trade history, waiver wire, and player ownership data from your connected Sleeper leagues. This data is what powers Verdict’s analysis.
- Usage data. Which features you use, how often, and basic interaction patterns. This helps us improve the product. We do not sell or share this data.
- Payment information. If you subscribe to Verdict Pro, your payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number — only a transaction ID and subscription status.
- Device and browser data. IP address, browser type, and operating system. Collected automatically when you use the service. Used for security and performance monitoring only.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data powers the product — full stop. We don’t use it for advertising. We don’t sell it. Here’s exactly what we do with it:
- Deliver the service. Sync your Sleeper leagues, generate your GM Briefing, score trades, surface waiver targets, and run draft analysis. None of this works without your data.
- Personalize your experience. Tailor recommendations to your roster, your league’s scoring settings, and your dynasty timeline. Your analysis is yours — not a generic template.
- Improve the product. Aggregate, anonymized usage patterns help us understand which features are valuable and which need work. We can’t tell individual users apart from this data.
- Send account and product communications. Subscription confirmations, password resets, and — if you opt in — product updates. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
- Prevent fraud and abuse. Detect unusual activity, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect other users from bad actors.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. The only times your data leaves Verdict are the situations below, and all of them exist to run the service you signed up for.
Service providers. We use a small set of trusted vendors to operate the product — Supabase for authentication and data storage, Vercel for hosting, Stripe for payment processing, and Anthropic for AI-powered recommendations. Each vendor receives only the data they need for their specific function. They are contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.
Legal requirements. If we are required by law — court order, subpoena, or similar legal process — we may disclose information. We will notify you if legally permitted to do so before complying.
Business transfers. If Verdict is acquired or merges with another company, your data may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you before any such transfer and ensure the receiving party is bound by equivalent privacy protections.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Our database is hosted on Supabase, which provides row-level security so each user can only access their own data — even at the database layer.
No system is perfectly secure. If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and contact us at support@verdictdynasty.com.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use a minimal set of cookies to keep you signed in and to understand how the product is used.
Session cookies. Required for authentication. If you delete these, you will be signed out.
Analytics. We use privacy-focused analytics to track aggregate page views and feature usage. We do not use Google Analytics. We do not build individual user profiles for advertising purposes.
No third-party advertising cookies. We do not place advertising pixels, retargeting tags, or any tracking cookies from ad networks on our site. Your browsing habits are yours.
6. Third-Party Services
Verdict is built on a small, trusted set of third-party platforms. Here’s what each one does and what data it touches:
- Sleeper API. We pull fantasy league data from Sleeper using your username. We do not have access to your Sleeper password or payment information. Sleeper’s own privacy policy governs the data held on their platform.
- Supabase. Our authentication and database provider. Supabase stores your account data and league data on our behalf, in a US-based data center, with encryption at rest. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II compliant.
- Anthropic (Claude AI). Powers AI-generated recommendations in the GM Briefing, Trade Analyzer, and Waiver Assistant. We send relevant fantasy data (your roster, scoring settings, trade context) to Anthropic’s API to generate analysis. We do not send personally identifying information — no names, emails, or payment data. Anthropic’s data usage policy applies to this processing.
- Stripe. Handles all payment processing for Verdict Pro. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.
- Vercel. Hosts the Verdict application. Vercel may process server logs including IP addresses for performance and security purposes.
7. Your Rights
You have real control over your data. Here’s what you can do:
- Access your data. Request a copy of the personal data we hold on you by emailing support@verdictdynasty.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
- Correct your data. If something is wrong, contact us and we’ll fix it.
- Delete your account. You can delete your account from account settings at any time. We’ll remove your personal data within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized data derived from your usage may be retained — it cannot be traced back to you.
- Disconnect your Sleeper account. You can remove your Sleeper connection from account settings. This stops future syncing. Previously synced data is deleted within 7 days of disconnection.
- Opt out of marketing emails. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets) cannot be disabled while your account is active.
- California residents (CCPA). You have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact support@verdictdynasty.com.
- EEA/UK residents (GDPR). You have additional rights including data portability and the right to restrict processing. Contact us at support@verdictdynasty.com to exercise any of these rights.
8. Children’s Privacy
Verdict is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@verdictdynasty.com and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy — changes that affect how we collect, use, or share your data — we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Minor updates (fixing typos, clarifying language without changing substance) may be made without notice. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
Continuing to use Verdict after a policy change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If you disagree with the changes, you can delete your account before they take effect.
